Ecobank Storms Alaba Market With EcobankPay Zone

Ecobank Nigeria, in her bid to get more Nigerians into the banking system, has established EcobankPay zone at the popular Alaba International Market in Lagos.
Speaking at the event, the bank's Managing Director , Patrick Akinwuntan , made known their commitment to ensure Nigerians (especially traders) will continue to enjoy various innovative financial solutions in different parts of the country.

He said the management of the bank have decided to designated the always-busy Alaba international market as an EcobankPay zone.

This means, both Ecobank and non - Ecobank account holders will have more easy and secure ways to pay when they patronise the market .

He made it known that with the solution, an individual from any bank in the country can actually pay with MasterPass, mVISA and mCASH with any phone by scanning QR code or using USSD.

Mr Patrick also maintained that traders can now take advantage of more possibilities to push their business to a higher level, as they can also sell to anyone with EcobankPay in 32 countries in Africa .

EcobankPay can be set up at no cost, since what is needed is simply a QR code with a phone for notifications to start receiving quick and easy payments .
