Ecobank encourages the use of Xpress Point agency services

Ecobank Nigeria wants their customers and patronisers to utilise the services of Xpress Point during weekends and holidays in various parts of the country. This of course is a new development by the bank to ensure its customers will continue to have access to some banking services after usual banking hours.

The bank have been working on introducing new products and services to stand head-to-head with some other giants in the Nigerian banking industry.

According to a top official of the bank, Xpress Point was made to cater for some financial transactions of the people - including deposits, withdrawals and account opening.

The Executive Director, Consumer Banking, Carol Oyedeji made known the bank's interest in taking banking service right to the door-step of their customers, and also added that the initiative is a superb fantastic option on all weekends and public holidays when conventional banks shuts their doors.

She then implored the bank's customers to take advantage of the opportunity during the festive period.

Carol said the service is a part of agency banking, and is in line with the financial inclusion strategy of the country's apex bank (the Central Bank of Nigeria). She also stated the bank's commitments in building a Pan African Banking Institution that will play a big role in the economic development and financial Integration of the continent.
