UBA Partner With Japanese Organization For MSMEs Development

United Bank for Africa (UBA ) Plc is set to partner the government of Japan to fulfill their aim to promote Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SMEs ) in Africa.

Mr Tony Elumelu, the chairman of the bank, made known the firm's commitment when he hosted the Japan External Trade Organisation earlier this week.

The organization's Chief Executive Officer Mr Hiroyuki Ishige visited the UBA House in Lagos alongside his team.

Mr Tony hosted the entourage and he stated how plans have begun earlier in Davos, Switzerland.

According to him, the bank have a passion for transforming lives across the continent, and JETRO also have similar aims.

The UBA Group have been making progress in building businesses across the world, and Mr Tony believe that the new partnership with the Japanese organisation will help more people create jobs and lift more people out of poverty.

Mr Ishige, speaking on the development, was excited with the structure of the bank. According to him, Nigeria is generally an exciting country with numerous opportunities and superb for investment.

He made it known that his organisation lends a hand to SMEs via various strategies and initiatives. The organization  fully utilises domestic and overseas networks that has over 40 bases. They promote investment and supports the spread of agricultural products.
